Women-Owned. Dog-Inspired. Connection-Driven.

We believe dogs have a unique way of bringing people together - and our products are intended to facilitate and deepen those connections. We strive to spark smiles, start conversations, and build community.

Rabbi Robyn Frisch

Rabbi Robyn Frisch is the founder of Mazel Pups, a community on Instagram and Facebook, for people who are Jewish - or Jew-ish - who love dogs.

A certified Counselor for People Grieving the Loss of a Pet, Robyn counsels individuals and provides support groups for people navigating the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet.

Robyn has been the rabbi of Temple Menorah Keneseth Chai in Philadelphia since 2008. And since her ordination in 2000 she has loved creating meaningful, personal lifecycle moments for individuals and couples - bringing people together in ways that are authentic, inclusive, and full of heart.

Now, she’s thrilled to partner with her friend Shelly to launch Pups Uniting People - because if there’s one thing she knows for sure, it’s that dogs don't just bring joy, they bring people together.

In addition to her human family (including her husband, Rabbi Seth Frisch, three kids and a granddaughter), Robyn shares her life with her rescue pup Frankie, and carries with her the love of her late dogs, Bo and Stella.

Shelly Shotel

Shelly Shotel is an educator and creative planner, and the founder of Philadelphia-based Izzy J Events, where she designs custom-themed décor for Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations. A lifelong dog lover, Shelly grew up with her beloved pups Mickey and Mandee and still treasures their memory. She’s excited to partner with her friend Robyn to launch Pups Uniting People, spreading joy and connection through a shared love of dogs.
